- the internet sells our data and our information to advertisers

- constantly, we are being monitored and targeted on our social media digest

-We the users are the product then! Our likes, shares, searches, comments all are what we are being used as benefits

-we sacrifice our information just to have something for free, free information and services come with a territory

- What can we do to protect ourselves? There really isn't much we can do. It is not entirely bad but nonetheless scary.

- wifi speculated to be treated like cell phone bills and eventual paying for internet, wifi no longer being free

-internet appeases a older money interest,

-we like to judge American owned companies of social media for being "corrupt" but then if we supported outside global platforms, our information would be less safe and less contained.

- if you ever felt like your voice did not matter when it came to voting or participating in civic duties?

- technically, that thought is right.

-number of voters have little effect on Public policy

- elite representation has a privilege in public policy
